Saturday 03/10/2026
19:00 until late Members Observing and imaging night
Saturday is looking favourable for the opposition of Saturn, so we will be opening Fairwood from 7pm onwards. Dark night starts around 8:40pm until the 45% waning gibbous moon rises around 11pm, so a good opportunity to see and image a range of objects with clear skies expected for the rest of the night - all members are welcome to attend. Please dress warmly, and a hot drink is advised. Please check WhatsApp/the website before travelling just in case a weather scrub may be required. Brian Stokes Cygnus Observatory
